Dresses and dresses and dresses oh my!

So on saturday my mom and I went up to Bridal and Formal in Cincy! What a great experience it was! When we got there we pulled like 10 dresses and I started trying them on and I saved the one that I thought I would love for last and guess what....we bought it!!! (well mom did...thanks mom!!) They took me to "Paris" and they did my hair and put on jewelry on me to help get the whole look. I know Paul doesn't get on here too often but I will show you a couple that didn't make the cut.

Mom really liked this one, me...eh, not so much

I really liked this one but it was VERY heavy!

This is the piece I bought for my hair

Maybe I'll do my hair close to this

This was my awesome consultant Bobbi....she rocked!

I also went to Dillards this week and bought a dress for my "trash the dress" session! I couldn't bring myself to trash my actual dress and I got this one for $20!! Thanks for the tip MeMe! I will try to collect some TTD pics and make a post later...they really make for some awesome pics!

Im thinking something like this for Paul but with a white shirt and possibly no tie, if we do a tie it will probably be lavender...any thoughts?

Since I found my dress I am pretty positive about my flowers now. I am wanting a mixture of the two bouquets below with white feathers throughout the bouquet

I went ahead an ordered my invitations for the at home reception because Vistaprint was having a great sale...I even got matching envelopes! I know it seems kind of early but I want to get as much can while Im out of school.  June 26th 2011...mark your calendars!

Addicted to the lake!

Paul has been trying to get me to go to the lake for the past couple of years but I just never went but I sure hate that I have been missing out on all of this fun for so long! You can't really beat great food, awesome company, boating, getting thrown off jet ski's lol and chillaxin in the lake. Lee (Paul's dad) said that I had to ski to be able to be a Bruner....well, I didn't want to actually ski, I thought I'd try the harder route and barefoot! I actually got up on my first try and had a blast! I can't wait to go back and do it again...I might need to do some more pullups before I head back down lol

Getting ready to take off

He was amazed that I got up! lol

I was pretty proud of myself!

Stacy, Kelly and I. We cheered together in high school.

Saturday morning we got up extra early and headed to Birmingham, AL for Kasey and Nick's wedding! I played softball with Kasey in high school....I just LOVE her and her momma, they are so much fun! I was making awesome time until I decided to listen to the people at the hotel that told me to go west instead of east, so needless to say, I took us a bit out of the way but we did survive our first road trip so I'd say that is a good sign!! LOL

Their first kiss!

They looked so good!!

This was the wonderful cloud that provided us some relief from the heat of Alabama's hottest day of the year so far!
